Yummy Smoothie Recipe

I'm getting a little sick of my "mango ice-cream," so I decided to shake it up. I still used plain yogurt because I'm trying to reduce the sugar content in my diet. I simply added strawberries, a banana, a splash of calcium-fortified orange juice, and ice. I didn't even add honey or other sweeteners. Yum!

  1. The other day I made one with 2 bananas, half of a frozen bag of blueberries and some plain yogurt, it was absolutely delicious and enough for two.

  3. Sounds yummy. If you want to try a smoothie that feels like a dessert but has no added sugar blend a banana (I use frozen overripe bananas), a spoonful of peanut butter (the natural no-sugar added kind), a spoonful of cocoa powder and some rice milk (or yogurt) and a couple ice cubes. That's it! It reminds me of the Peanut Butter Moo'd smoothies from Jamba Juice that are soooo bad for you but soooo good!

I promise I am open to feedback and truly appreciate hearing others' insights into my choices (it's like free therapy!), but please say it in the same way you would say it if we were sitting across from each other at brunch or next to each other on a park bench while our children play.
