Kitchen Organization
Since I spend an inordinate amount of time breastfeeding these days, I've been using my time to plan our imminent move. For example, I've been focusing on our kitchen. the space is relatively small (and we have an inordinate number of appliances), so we're going to have to be strategic about maximizing every available inch.
Here are some of the space-saving strategies we're thinking about implementing:
2) Using cabinet organizers to store aluminum foil, parchment paper, etc.
3) Hanging brooms/mops/etc. on the inside of a closet door.
4) Storing spices in a rack attached to the inside of a cabinet.
5) Creating diagonal storage for cooking utensils.
6) Hanging cleaning supplies on a tension rod under the sink.

Oh my gosh. The tension rod to hang spray bottles just blew my mind. I have a low, deep cabinet in my bathroom that I kind of just throw all my cleaning supplies in. This could help a lot!
I love the tension rods for cutting boards! Stealing that one!
We have a tiny kitchen with a tiny pantry. Storage is at a premium, to say the least. To expand our pantry we installed an over-the-door rack that has adjustable shelves. It has created a TON of extra space. It's like this one:

Hope this helps and happy planning!
Thank you for sharing this post, Sara! I now want to implement every one of these ideas!
Ditto on the tension rod thing! What a great idea! I see a trip to the store to purchase many, many tension rods in my future.
